Euthanasia derives from Greek -Eu ”good” and Thanatos ”death” meaning good-death. Euthanasia is defined as a willful act to take away a patient’s life who is suffering an incurable disease with severe pain . As society matures, it makes provisions for its members to live a dignified life. This effort is defeated in an individual who is suffering from a grave disease with no cure and which entails an unbearable suffering.

The debate of “ right for death ” arises in such situations and it is the onus of the society to grant or deny the individual’s right and contentions.
