Let us consider the following case. Mr. K is a 51 year old Indian male with type 2 diabetes and hypertension since 10 years. He comes to the clinic for a regular check up. He smokes about 5 cigarettes a day for the past 30 years and has a family history of premature coronary artery disease with father who died of heart attack at age 50.
