Case presentation A 64-year-old male presented with abdominal pain, non-bloody diarrhea, diffused rash, and possible allergy-related colitis after drinking pineapple juice. Abdominal computed tomography with contrast showed mesenteric edema and an irregular noncalcified thrombus in the abdominal aorta (Cover image). The patient has a history of penicillin allergy and no history of tobacco use, leg claudication, abdominal injury, rest pain, and impotence.
