Case presentation A 16-year-old athlete presented with mild pain in the left medial-sided ankle for the past month. The pain started with swelling in the ankle one day after playing a football game. The patient experienced acute pain during the game as well. Physical examination Left and right feet were intact neurovascularly.
No postural abnormalities in the ankle of both feet Tenderness and swelling in medial malleolus in the left foot Palpable tenderness, but no swelling in medial malleolus of the right foot Pain in both feet with external rotation stress test No restriction in the motion of the left hindfoot, midfoot, and ankle Based on radiograph analysis, surgery was performed ( Cover image ).
