Case presentation A 13-year-old boy presented with two episodes of acute-onset left hemibody weakness and dysarthria without changes in sensorium in a day. Each episode lasted about 60 minutes before completely resolving. The patient had a longstanding history of gait imbalance but never experienced the mentioned symptoms. Medical and family history The patient was always considered clumsy compared with other children but had no history of motor delays.
