A 52-year-old female presented with a 4-year progressive history of left nasal obstruction, pain, and fullness with intermittent epistaxis. She reported of having a prior URTI with subsequent ongoing mucus production. There was no significant past or family history. Investigations: Nasal endoscopy- A huge left nasal polyp completely obstructing the anterior nasal cavity. Through the right nasal endoscopy, the tumor was seen to occupy the left nasopharynx. No evidence of tumor in the right nasal cavity.
Oral and eye examination- No abnormality detected. HRCT Paranasal sinuses- Complete opacification of the left frontal, ethmoidal, maxillary, and sphenoidal sinuses and nasal cavity. Significant displacement of the left lateral nasal wall into the maxillary sinus. Hyperostosis of the sphenoid and maxillary sinus walls. Right nasal cavity and sinuses were clear.
