Till today it is a common belief that few persons die of Neurological diseases actually it leads to more morbidity than mortality but the number of deaths due to neurological disorders like Alzheimer`s and Parkinson`s disease, stroke and epilepsy have increased by 36.7 percent worldwide between 1990 and 2015, a study says. So now, neurological deaths are making headlines too as we live more and expect more longevity by treating many communicable and non-communicable diseases. In 2015, these diseases comprised of 16.8 percent of global deaths, according to the report by the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) project published in the journal The Lancet .
