Peripheral neuropathy (PN) constitutes peripheral nerve cell and fiber disorders and leads to numbness, weakness, tingling, pain, and loss of deep tendon reflexes. 1 The condition takes a few months to years to develop and has severe clinical manifestations in motor, sensory, and autonomic fibers. 1 PN is not life-threatening but certainly affects the patient’s daily activities and quality of life.
