Synopsis Migraine is a neurobiological disorder that affects around 960 million people worldwide and deters the quality of life. Despite the availability of a wide range of acute treatment options for migraines, including analgesics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, etc. patients remain dissatisfied with their effects. In the present study, rimegepant, a calcitonin gene-related peptide receptor antagonist, is tested for efficacy and safety in the acute treatment of migraine.
