A 17-year-old high school student presented to a specialized clinic with a 10-day history of a facial rash . The patient reported that the rash first started with several pimples over the forehead and cheek. The rash gradually spread to other areas of his face, mostly at the right side. He described the lesions as non-itchy , but very painful .
He had no known history of any allergies and his immunizations were up-to-date. The young boy was active in wrestling and was preparing for an upcoming competition. History Of Presenting Illness The patient initially visited a primary healthcare provider (PHP).
