A nine-day-old infant was presented to the pediatrician due to poor feeding, decreased urine output and tachypnea. He was a previously healthy infant who was born full term after 38 weeks via normal spontaneous delivery. He had no fever, respiratory symptoms, diarrhea, vomiting, seizures, rashes or changes in skin color. His APGAR score had been 9 and 9 after 1 and 5 minutes of birth.
He weighed 2.6 kg at the time of birth, had an uncomplicated nursery course and had passes CCHD screening 29 hours after birth. His maternal serology, as well as prenatal sonograms, were normal.
