Case 1 A 37-year-old woman , Ms. X visited a consultant gynecologist , Dr. A for the treatment of bilateral ovarian endometrial cysts . She had been suffering from recurrent cysts for the past few years and was on dydrogesterone medication. Ms. X had been sexually inactive. Three days post-visit, Ms. X had to be admitted to the emergency ward because of severe dysmenorrhoea . A trans-vaginal ultrasound scan was conducted that confirmed the presence of bilateral ovarian cysts .
