The terminology “Hydrocele of Thigh” is not an accepted clinical condition in the biomedical literature. But if we can have “Hydrocele of Neck” and “Hydrocele of Breast”, why cannot we have “Hydrocele of Thigh”, if the pathogenesis and the clinical features of all the three conditions are the same? A 7-year-old boy was brought to us with swelling on left upper and inner aspect of thigh for the last 4 years. On examination, the swelling was 4 cm in diameter and spherical in shape. The skin over the swelling was healthy with no venous prominence. There was no visible pulsation.

It was mobile with well-defined margin and smooth surface. The fluctuation was present and it was brilliantly transilluminant. There was no history of trauma. The U/S showed 5×4 cm cystic lesion.
