Case presentation : A 31-year-old female laboratory technician presented to the hospital with a history of rapidly developing sinusitis and upper respiratory tract infection. Other progressive symptoms included dizziness, fever, headache, pain in the left ear, and sneezing. The sputum and nasal discharge were occasionally sticky and green. The patient was unresponsive to antibiotic therapy with cephalexin before the presentation and was admitted for further management.

ENT examination: Congestion and erythema of nose and throat were observed.
