Incidence of allergic rhinitis in India ranges from 20% to 30%, and its prevalence has been reported to be increasing in the past few years. International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood (ISSAC) phase 3 findings stated the prevalence of nasal symptoms has increased up to 12.9% and 23.6% in 6-7-year and 13-14-year age groups, respectively.
