A new study published in Lancet has claimed that if one takes an unhealthy diet or a diet having more sugar, salts, saturated trans fat deprived of fruits, vegetables and fibers that health gets more complicated than one simply smokes.The study, which was published in the  Lancet medical journal, was done by the Institute of Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) based in Seattle, Washington. It was done as part of the Global Burden of Disease research. Eleven million deaths which occur globally each year are caused by bad dietary practices, according to a new study — a figure that’s alarmingly more than the number of deaths which occur due to smoking tobacco.
