Canadian researchers revealed that the risk of type 2 diabetes is higher among women who clock up to 45 hours a week or more at work. The findings draw attention towards yet another health risk of long working hours, encouraging a limit to provide a better work-life balance to employees. Previous studies on the link between diabetes and long working hours have largely focused on men.
