A 37-year-old teacher experienced hoarseness and difficulty speaking or voice production four months after her delivery. Her medical history included a recent diagnosis of mild hemochromatosis, for which she took no medication. She had given birth to a healthy baby boy through normal vaginal delivery. Her pregnancy and delivery had been uneventful, except for an asymmetrical epidural block. She had, thus, delivered the boy through epidural analgesia. No other symptoms like changes in blood pressure or headaches were noted.

She did not report any episodes of choking, sore throat, or dysphagia. She noticed this hoarseness and difficulty in voice production shortly after her delivery. No lesions were found in CT of neck and thorax, and her neurological examination was normal.
